We stayed at the same hostel we'd stayed in before we hired the car and drove around New Zealand. We handed our camping gear back to them. It was so lovely that they lent us the stuff completely free. Later, we went out for a lush curry by the harbour and even treated ourselves to a few beverages. It felt so good to be sleeping in a comfy bed once again. I slept so well! The next day, we took a bus to the airport, then waited for our round the world flight to depart to Nadi, Fiji. It's going to be lovely having some down time in paradise! So it's goodbye to New Zealand, it's been nice knowing you, and I really hope to return one day.
