tj here: Our flight was delayed also by about 35 minutes. The Captain made up about 15 minutes during flight. We were on a Dreamliner, so I was looking forward to the individual video screens and wifi...but, as luck would have it, their system was down. I entertained myself on my iPad, working on our blog and playing games.
Most of the folks on our flight were making connections, so it was a mad dash to get off the plane since we were late. Mary and I headed to Baggage, found our driver and waited for our bags and box of wine. Mary's bag and box of wine showed up as well as ONE of my two bags. We waited. And we waited. The conveyor belt stopped. Not a good sign! Headed over to the Baggage Customer Service office. There were 3 people in front of me. Mary and the driver headed to the car to put the baggage we had in the car. They came back. I was still waiting. Mary was stressing more than I was. I was more worried about my chocolate than anything! Finally I show my baggage claim to the lady and she says, "Oh, your bag is here! It came in on an earlier flight and it's in the office on the other side of baggage." Whew! She said, "You'll have to show your claim check and a photo ID." So I head over to the office of orphaned baggage and I see my lonely little bag sitting on the floor. The lady there barely looks at my claim check and says, "Take it!" Wow! That gives me a warm fuzzy to know my bag was so secure! Not!
We had an uneventful drive to my house while we listened to a sermon the driver had on the radio. Maybe he thought we needed it after heaving that box of wine into the car? We split up our wine and Mare was on her way home.
I have to ditto what Debbie said about our wonderful girls' trip. It was the best one ever! I'm so thankful to have my sisters from different mothers! Love you guys! Yes, thank you Mare for the wonderful Winery Tour and Deb, for the beautiful pottery heart dish and dinner at Redd Wood Grill. Heck, I can't remember who paid for what now! A BIG thanks to Nancy for buying Debbie a selfie stick! As you can see, we about wore it out! And, of course, a big thanks to Travis and Ashley for introducing us to this wonderful travel blog app! I'm anxious to read about your future trip to Napa and especially The French Laundry!

We couldn't get a reservation at the French Laundry -- we stayed up until 1am when they open them online (2 months to the day in advance) as well as calling -- absolutely no luck!
Good job with the blog. It's always interesting having multiple points of view.

Bummer T&A!! Maybe with that money you're saving, you can purchase some of that Screaming Eagle wine?! Sounds like you'll be going around Thanksgiving?
