Forsayth, Queensland, Australia
Left our second family at Bedrock Village, if ever travelling that is one place you should stay and book to see the Undara Lava tubes with them. Terry bakes up a mean parstie as well as home-made cookies. We gave our car a free car wash (only one we seen on our entire trip, where you drive over giving a real good clean over and under) on leaving Mount Surprise, detoured via Einasleigh (as advised by Greg and Jan Simpson), where we took a right hand turn at pub coming across Copperfield Gorge (would have missed it completely if not told about it). As we ventured down to see the gorge we spotted some people, looking like they were doing a spot of fishing (well not Nemos) but a water camera they had dropped into the gorge evening prior. So.. 'Esmee' (William) decided to check it out ‘yep’ off fell his good sunnies into the gorge (another mishap). So off went William to get his and Jayde Louise's goggles and towel to dive to look for both camera and sunnies along with Louise and Tim - Eureka!!!! recovered Louise’s camera, she was ecstatic, but no luck on the sunnies – maybe one good deed will deserve another, in that William and Jayde had a lovely swim in the Gorge.

Continuing along rough surface via Forsayth and into Cobbold Gorge, where we arrived mid-afternoon, whilst starting to setup realised we had lost our jockey wheel (another mishap) . Lovely gentleman Des suggested to William use the jack. Quiet evening sitting around fire with Des and his wife Janet and another couple from Chinchilla. Lucky we had booked into cruise (for next day) on arrival as found out sitting around campfire tour was full.
