Karumba, Queensland, Australia
Packed up at Croydon and went down to Lake Belmore 4km down the road from where we were staying and cooked up a nice breakfast – French toast and bacon overlooking the lake, it was beautiful and serene. We then drove back to Croydon and looked at their Historic Precinct and Tru Blu Tourist Centre and watched a 20 min DVD on the town's history (interesting).

Next town we stopped at was Normantown where the largest Crocodile killed by a woman was stuffed and mounted (very big), then onwards 70km to Karumba .

Arriving at Karumba around 2.30pm we were lucky we had booked in advance, as when checking in at Sunset Caravan Park on the Point (Managers where from Denman, great to talk about the Hunter) travellers behide us where turned away no vacancies. On arrival we decided to book on a Ferryman's sunset cruise for Sunday evening. Yeah! William went shopping for Jockey Wheel (they have strange ways in QLD, you have to pay for the wheel seperately from the framing). Whilst William finished settingup and unpacking, Jayde and I went shopping for some groceries for a baked dinner that evening. After having a late lunch, we then went for a bike ride up to the point, stopping at Sunset Tavern, having a couple of drinks watching the sunset, and speaking with other travellers exchanging places each had stayed at or seen. Back at the camp, placed roast and vegies on, and Jayde and myself headeed up for a shower, which we shared with some little frogs, my shower had a sleepy frog (or a deviate) watching while I showered. Jayde had some trouble in her shower with her frog jumping a little. We sat down and had a great tea, and then finished with a late game of cards before heading to bed.
