Day 21 - Kingfisher Camp, Queensland

Corinda Station, Queensland, Australia
Continued trip leaving at 9.30am travelling to Kingfisher Camp along with Maryann and Wayne. We checked at Edel's ranges if roads are open to kingfisher - yes, but be careful with creek crossings and track are badly rutted. We had two creek crossings to get through, testing the depth prior to driving, first was Musselbrook Creek with a sandy base and some deep water in parts, the next was Elizabeth Creek this is where William and Wayne repaired a puncher to our rear tyre before crossing it was rocky, notice with the pictures girls decided to test depth, but honestly we wanted to have our photos taken showing us driving through, where water up to middle of our doors. Was a slow drive (ranges where right badly ruttrd in parts) and then having to open and closing thousands of gates.

When we arrived at Kingfisher Camp around 2 .00pm we ran into Wayne and Karen (who we had met at Leichhardt Falls). We setup and went for a walk and looked at the river, collected some firewood and relaxed. Wayne went for a fish, while William continued along the long river walk following the pink ribbon until finaly he could not see any more, we had all given up and left him. We relaxed around the fire chatting till about 10.30pm.
