Very sad and teary farewell to our dear friends Maryann and Wayne. Will travel up to Darwin and they are heading south back to Victoria. We will stay with Adam and Katie. Just after leaving Mataranka saw our first 130Km speed sign (nah we didn't try to see what the speed was like). We stopped off at Katherine picked up some information for when/if come back after Darwin. Met Katie at work and then headed to ARB down the road to get awning fixed. Followed Katie back to Adam and her house at Gunn, near Palmeston, what a great house, plenty of room and a good layout. Watched State of Origin – yea NSW won!
