Katherine, Northern Territory, Australia
Went down to pharmacy and got some antihistamines, to relieve some itching and continued to put itch eze antiseptic cream on.

Decided due to time restraint to go to Edith Falls approximately 60 km out of Katherine and give Katherine Gorge a miss .

Walked up Lilyen Trail to Upper Level and falls - "OMG" what an absolute breathtaking experience, just spectacular. Swam around for a while, was chilly initially, very refreshing. Warmed up a little in sun on rocks then continued our walk around the loop, walking into see “Sweetwater” pools a 7.2Km return trail back to the loop. Went for a swim at “Sweetwater” pools, a big watering hole with small cascading falls into one another. Was exhausting coming back from 7.2Km quite a big walk Jayde Louise did good, but too tired when got to end of loop to go for another swim, so we settled on an ice cream. (Tom would be proud of my exercise today over 10km ascending climb, heart rate got up, over rocky areas then steep descend with quite a bit of swimming).

Headed back to camp, fuelled up in preparation to head off early for Timber Creek or Kununurra.

What a lovely place Edith Falls looks --swimming in that water with the falls behind looks wonderful --sweet water looks so quiet and serene ---I would like to just camp there for a week
