Day 47-Mornington Wilderness Park Gibb River Rd WA

Mornington Wilderness Park, Western Australia, Australia
Headed out to Sir John Gorge, where we were glad we didn't hire canoe here as would have had to walk quite a way. Walked across and down some rocks where we picked a nice place to have a swim. Tom, Bec and girls turned up so we all took a swim across the other side of the Gorge & sat on thre rocks & viewed the Gorge. We left the others there and walked back to car to go to Bushland Pool, had lunch where we spotted our back drivers sight light was hanging by the leads, taped this up and went to have a swim but didn’t think very enticing so we head to Catupult for a swim which was lovely.

Came back and fixed the light, both screws had come loose so just needed to screw back in and repacked car ready to leave the next morning .

Had booked us in for dinner that evening where we had a lovely lamb roast and vegies and homemade apple crumble and icecream. We then watched a DVD on the Morning Wilderness Park.
