Day 53 – Broome, Western Australia

Broome, Western Australia, Australia
Up and packed early for 8.00am camel ride and then brekkie on Cable Beach. Jayde and I rode Rodney (Rodstar) while William was on Izzy (youngest camel of nine years) – beautiful morning and quite on the beach not as many cars as there is at sunset on Cable.

After ride we travelled further up Cable Beach to have brekkie, swam and spent a couple of hours relaxing .

Decided to drive around Broome and stop down at Port, climbed around cliffs and rocks at Reddell Beach. Set up our car annex having some lunch, William and Jayde went to have a fish, whilst there spotted some whales.

Went back to Cable Beach to watch the sunset along with 90-100 other 4WDs, so much nicer having the camel ride in the morning than in the afternoon with some many cars on the beach. We had wine and nibbles while waiting for the sun to set, beautiful sight.
