Karijini National Park, Western Australia, Australia
Up early for breakfast and a 56km drive (majority over corregated road) to the Weano area of Karijini National Park with the Manks Family. First stop was Hancock Gorge, climbing down steep ladder into gorge, walking along sides of rock faces, felt a bit like abseiling, and walking through water upto your waist, it was cold.

Then over to Handrail Pool, where needed at one stage to hold tight on a handrail as tight as could and maneuverer around slippery rocks to place foot on step to climb down into the pool . Then continue through Gorge, this time with water up to your chest.

Oxs Lookout, and then to Joffre Lookout and Gorge – once there kids decided to go into gorge after seeing other children laughing and slipping on rocks and falling into the water. Again feeling like mountain goats climbing down steep rock ledges into gorge where kids had fun slipping on rocks.
