DAY 74 – Denham, WA

Denham, Western Australia, Australia
Awoke earliest we have ever had to get out of bed at 5.30am to get to Monkey Mia 25km away for first feeding at 7.30am – weather didn't look too bad. Had to share the feeding morning along with approximately another 170 odd people but our friend Nic got picked so not all lost and dolphins did come in quite close, we also seen a turtle bobbing his head out every now and then which was also pretty cool – William captured a closer shot from the Jetty and then when we were preparing to board the Aristocat 2 catamaran trip he popped up again.

Boarded a full cruise on the Aristocat, where we first went out to Black Pearl farm (owned by Jamie from Farmer wants a wife family) and then ventured out towards the reef to see if we could see any marine life – seen a sponge dolphin so cool but unfortunately William unable to capture a shot, see some turtles underneath and other bottlenose dolphins – no dugongs this time of the year . Rain ended up setting in for a little while before sunshine again for the kids to go boom netting and then the adult bit faster and Jayde joined her father for the adult ride along with Sarah and Megan – they ended up with sore bottoms but had a great time.

All tired so came back to camp, where we had a birthday cake for Jayde 29 July and Nic 14 August along with lolly bags and some small gifts – William, Sue and Glenn shared some port (just in case last time we see them).
