Fowlers Bay, South Australia, Australia
Packed up and off we went to tee off Nullarbor golf link before heading 26kms down to the Head of Bight where we viewed lots and lots of Female Whales and their Calves spent a couple hours just watching them hoping to have some of them play for us. Weather still a little cold and drizzling on and off. Decided to have some homemade soup at café as our lunch and another 130kms before our next tee off at Nundroo Roadhouse. Pulled in to see a gentleman just finishing the hole, and realised quite a bit walk up to tee off, Janet and Jayde stayed back to have a cuppa and cupasoup, before joining us on the course to help find some balls (Boys said the hardes hole they had played so far). Card stamped and William let Colin take lead of the convoy to Fowlers Bay, well we needed to turn right about 5kms down the road towards Coorabie, in which Colin drives past turnoff (must admit no signage indicating Fowlers Bay), then Hans and Lorraine following them, we turned off and stopped hoping they realise we still not following. Yep here comes Hans and Lorraine, wait, wait, wait here comes Colin and Janet flashing their lights. We needed to travel 29kms into Fowlers Bay on dirt road. Drove into a quaint fishing village. After setting up we all went for a walk along the Jetty and seen at a long distance some whales with the sun setting. Joined the campfire with a drink and met up with the gentleman and his wife that were golfing at Nundroo. Colin and William went to cook up some tea at the camp kitchen and we had tea inside their van. Jayde went to put something in camper and a cat jumped on her, well I think the campsite were all woken up if asleep – poor thing she was shaking so much, had to sleep with mummy that night.
