DAY 78 – Dongara, WA

Planned for another long day and decided to get as far as we can with stopping overnight in a Motel somewhere so to get an early start to get to Lou's tomorrow.

Along our way visited Hutt River Province, where how Prince Leonard Clasey won land and created a Province for his own country, was interesting but expected a little more of a township . Onto look at Pink Lake at Port Gregory – small fishing village. As driving down towards Mandurah looked upon spectacular scenery and lush green paddocks, where canola and wheat was being grown.

Visited the Geraldton Visitors Centre, visited the HMAS Sydney II Memorial where each dove within the memorial represents a tribute to the 645 men lost in battle with a German Raider in November 1941 before decided to head to Dongara-Port Dension to stay at Old Mill Motel for the evenin
