Woke up 3:00 a.m. (PST) and was on the road at 4:19 a.m. When I opened the door to my room, it had looked like it had rained all night. I had just gotten downstairs with my 1st load when it started to pour. I threw everything in the car, and headed for the carport in front of the hotel. Reloaded up the car and signed out. Temperature was 59F and my mileage was 32402.

6:15 a .m.

Albuquerque, NM

70F and cloudy. Mileage is 32543. Stopped for a $6.19 breakfast from Burger King. Took one bite of the breakfast sandwich and decided not to have another bite. It was awful! Do people really eat these things!

7:51 a.m.

Cline's Corner, NM

Drove further down the road hoping to get a better breakfast.   Cline’s Corner (a famous stopping point from the past) has lots of souvenirs to buy if you are into junk or Native American looking items that are made in Pakistan or India. I ended up getting a child’s meal turkey and cheese sandwich, apple slices, and a water for $5.32. Mileage is 32602. 69F and windy.

Mileage is 32894 . 86F warm and windy. 11.244 gallons @ $2.849= $32.03. Very small cowboyish shack in the middle of Texas.

Best Western Inn and Suites $

Mileage is 33305. 89F and muggy. Had some rain east of Oklahoma City. Paid $15.00 for Papa John’s Pizza (ate half again….these franchises are not very good on the road…the one I order from in Long Beach is excellent.) Got a call from a former guy (couldn’t call him a boyfriend since he never was exclusive with me) who wants to meet while I am home in Indiana. This is the same guy who ditched me twice for what he thought was a better girlfriend. Unfortunately for him, they were gold-diggers.
