Decided we would do the waterfall hike for our hike of the day . Got our snacks gathered up
and set off. We have done this several times and do enjoy this hike. There were not many
people about when we turned up the path to the waterfall but we were heading out early.
Based on sunrise, we were late but did not see many people until we were at the waterfall
and then there was a steady stream of people heading to the waterfall.

The trip to the waterfall is always interesting. You walk part of the time along the stream
from the waterfall and part of time above the stream. You do have watch for the roots along
the path as well as the rocks crossing the stream but it is a real adventure!

There are a few places where people have kindly placed ropes for you to pull out from the
get across an area where it does not look like you will make it! The very last section is
fairly scary from Laura's point of view. You have to scale down a fairly steep place does
have a rope to help you get down if you trust the rope . Fortunately, Robert was acting as
spotter and made it just fine.

Sat and enjoyed the waterfall and view and cooled down for awhile. We also had some snacks
and were glad we had brought them. We saw some people climbing down from on top of the
waterfall and realized it was the couple we had met yesterday on the Playa Grande. They had
already walked up to the waterfall and up then headed on up above the waterfall! Quite f

We headed back down from the waterfall and managed to make it back with no problems and
really did enjoy the hike.

Back to Luna Llena where we relaxed for the rest of the afternoon before heading to Chicos
for dinner and visit with Juan Carlos. The wind was blowing quite strongly and was a very
pleasant place to have dinner.
