Finally made it out the door early for a morning hike on the trails found on the Tennis Club
Quepos property . We had been told we could hike there as long as there was not a group that
was using the trails for their zip line adventure.

It was shady and did not seem very hot as we walked along. It seemed much easier this year
to go up and down the trails and we only had to backtrack once. We were not seeing too many
birds but did see quite a few of the tiny green and black frogs.

Came out at the back side of the now named TiTi Resort. Last year when we were here, it did
not look like it was open but there is new life being put into the place. Most of the
buildings had been cleaned up and there was work being done on the zip line platforms as
well.



Did the walk a second time but instead of heading to the Mirador took the path to the left.
It is much steeper but a good workout. There are signs of new zip lines and some of the
paths are actually gravel which made for easy walking. You could see where the path had
continued at one time but now is covered with leaves and does not look too inviting. You
could actually see the road but no clear path so we turned around and headed back down the
way we had arrived.


Talked to the gentleman working behind the offered to fix us a cold peach ice tea.   Turns
out, he fixed us a pitcher of ice cold ice tea that tasted like tamarindo juice and was so
very nice! He talked about the improvements being made to the resort and that they do have
food prepared for the end of the zip line adventures.

Took the bus into town and went to the Mini Super store and found all sorts of things we
really NEEDED, especially ice. Back to room where we enjoyed some of the new condiments we had bought and fixed our brunch and dinner there at the Birds Watching and just enjoyed the
view from our deck.
