First two days just kind of checking things out and trying to decide the rest of our stay.

Day three bicycle ride toward lake
Vlado took us to Bohinj Bistrica via Lake Bled where we checked out where we were going to stay. Got to the condo that is owned by Blado’s son and got ourselves settled in and Vlado took us to grocery store and then we had a final drink before we said our goodbyes.
The condo has great views out the front and we just relaxed that first evening. The next day we worked on our plans for the rest of the time we were going to be in Slovenia and should we head back to Venice or what. Walked back over to the Spar and got things for dinner. Barbara and her husband Sebastian are the managers and came by and showed us where the key to the laundry was and how to use the machines.
Some of the European machines are not quite like we we have back home! Made our reservations for the train from Most Na Soci to Nova Gorica at the end of our time in Slovenia.
There were two bicycles available for us to use and so we decided to try them out. Found the bicycle path and headed down toward Lake Bohinj. It was a beautiful ride with very peaceful countryside and mountains in the distance. Back to the room and enjoy the evening views from the condo.
The next day fix nice breakfast and set off to see if we can find a way to rent kayaks. Had driven to a place that rented kayaks when we were with Vlado but had left all our tourist information in his car when we got out. Got the on/off bus to the lake and it turned out to not be a bargain....5 euros each.
Went to the tourist office and got some more information and decided to have coffee at place next door and looked across the road and there was a place that rented sit on top kayaks!!! Went and checked them out and rented a kayak and got it down to the water. Getting it to the water was tricky as there were fairly large rocks to navigate around. Saw a snake as we set off on our adventure. Beautiful day with lots of people out enjoying, people on SUPS and small boats out on the water. The scenery was very nice and it was an enjoyable experience. Back to place where we packed up to get ready to leave for Lake Bled in the morning.
