The next morning borrowed the bicycles and set off for a ride around the lake.
Decided to try to left side of the lake and see how far we got. The path was very crowded with walkers and some bicyclers. Unfortunately there was no bell for us to ring to warn people of our approach and many people seemed oblivious to the fact that there was a bicycle bearing down on them. Had to stop and enjoy the view several times.
Decided not to bike all the way around the lake but go back to a restaurant we had seen as we came into town that was upstairs and looked out over the lake and you could see the castle and church. Lunch was delicious and we decided we needed to head back to our room because it looked like rain was approaching.
Robert had found a route back that turned out to be not quite what it had appeared to be on the GPS but was a nice uphill slog which was good for our respiratory! Made it back to the room and then the rain really started!
Rain slacked off and we decided to walk down hill toward lake and see if we could find a place with a view of the lake, church and castle. Found a place we could sit outside and enjoy our view and not get wet called Klub Kult! The pizza and salad were delicious. The only downside for us was they only took cash but was not a real deal breaker. The inside of the place had a kind of American bar feel but outside was great. Took a taxi home because the rain had started again.
