Hike to Cemetery, kayak Soci river

Ljubljana, Ljubljana, Slovenia
Got up and decided to hike back up to the cemetery and turn right instead of left and see where this road would take up.  Took time to enjoy the view and then turned right and followed the road alongside a nicely wooded area.  The road ended and veered off to the left through an open field.  There was a sign that indicated this was the way to Senica.  Were not sure what that was but continued on the path and ended up at another road that led right to some houses and left back down to the village of Moorej.
There was also a sign pointing to Senica and so we followed the road down and saw a path that indicated this was the way to Senica and we figured the was the place Vasja had told us you could hike to and get a view of the confluence of the Soci and Indrija rivers.  We decided not to try this and headed back to town.
This was an interesting walk down from the hillside and along the lake.  We crossed a small bridge over an inlet into a the river and Robert spotted several small fish moving around and then he spotted a snake coiled on the bottom of the lake!  Watched the action for awhile but never saw the snake catch any of the fish.  We presume the fish are trout fingerlings because this is evidently a special of the region.
Back to place and had lunch, nap and then decided to kayak up the Soci river.  It is also a very beautiful stretch of water and enjoyed it greatly.  The paddle boat does come up this way but you can hear it coming and move to the side and wait for it to pass.   There was more flotsam on the river and we did a little cleanup as we went along.
Back to Tami grille and had a drink and enjoyed the view and people watching as well.  Visited with the couple that run the grille and rent the kayaks and they also have rooms they rent that have a view of the Soci river.  May have to look into those in the future.
