Well I thought it appropriate to start off this blog today its New Year's Eve and what better way to start 2011 then with booking our 2 RTW tickets. Its finally real there is no turning back now so we have 4 months to organise and save save save. :-)
Out ticket route is Edinburgh- Mumbai - Singapore - Bali - Cairns - Sydney - Santiago - Lima - Miami - London
We got the tickets through RTW Experts after some haggling with STA Travel, RTW Experts proved to be nicer people (Kylie) with no charges for free flight changes the ticket price started at £1886 and I haggled it to £1665.
Time for some New Year Celebrations - this time next year will be Rio de Janerio :-))

hello your trip to be sounds amazing we can advise when you hit mumbai stay for about 3 nights and get the train to kerela varkala 1st class ac use CLEAR TRIP to book itys so easy the place is amazing cliff top restaurantsa and such a funky vibe loads of accommodation just sort when you get there also kovalam a horse shoe bay is very tranquil varma bungalows right on the beach careful haggiling for 2000 a night or a short trop up a hill to grand sea ac massive room for 1500 love ruth frank and georgew x

Yeah I agree to use Cleartrip when you get to India- try to book as early as possible when you get up north though :)
