Arambol, Goa, India
So got up about 7am to avoid the heat – we had 2 local buses to catch to get to Arambol, by the 2nd bus I was feeling sick the petrol fumes were so strong and I was soo tired sitting with my wee carrier sick bag hanging out the window I just wanted it to end. I never ever sleep on public transport but somehow I passed out and was sound asleep on the bumpiest corner turning bus ride ever !! Woke up fresh as a daisy!

Got on the beach and most of the shacks have been taken down for the monsoon season but we got a great room overlooking the sea with a wee balcony so off for a few beers to congratulate ourselves on getting here ok- the journying from A to B seems to be going better than we thought .

Its relaxing here very chilled out, went out for dinner that night and this guy (Phil) notices Marc's Beady Eye t-shirt – he came over to ask about it and it turns out he is good friends with John Stewart megga famous guy who was tour manager for Oasis and Beady Eye and umpteen other famous bands anyway so few drinks later we fnd out this guy Phil has been living here in India for 8 years and owns a bar/club and knows everyone it seems in Goa’s music scene he has been putting on beach parties for years (previously he was some head car sales manager for Jaguar) – since then its quite clear he is now enjoying the hippy way of Goan life. He finds out Marc DJ’s next min he is on the phone and Sat night Marc is playing at some place back in Calangute/Baga area J - we are just going with the flow so will see what happens.

We headed off to some live music night with him at a bar up the road where people just get up and sing or play instruments – it was total hippy tastic totally chilled with people having SPLIFFing time blatently smoking the hashish.

It was a free for all for a sing or play instruments so Marc got up to sing a few songs too it went down a treat check out the videos below he was great J - just missing a loin cloth and some dreadlocks hehe (HAVING PROBS UPLOADING VIDS WILL TRY AGAIN LATER)

Bus tickets Cost - £1.30 for the 2 of us
