So this is a lazy update about Delhi …so after our day at Red Fort and the Mosque we spent 2 days with the street kids – this was meant to be for 7 days but I got sick so we didn't get a chance to finish it – the couple of days we did spend there were great – there are 8 girls in this shelter aged 4 – 14 and have a place to sleep they have all been rescued from the streets and are now getting taught english and given a chance in life – we spent the days playing games with them they loved Marc cause he was a giant to them just swinging them around all the time and also helped them with learning their english. We are just gutted we didn’t get to spend longer and hope to do more volunteer work somewhere else on our trip.

Aside from that I spent 6/7 days proper ill with delhi belly – it was narrowed down to a pancake it was the only thing we ate different, I had a fever of 103 was covered in blankets freezing in a non ac room where it was 44 degrees at points – anyway some antibiotics later I eventally got better .

A cheap grubbish room is fine for a couple of days but after being there for 9 nights it took its toll it was a noisey noisey dump that was a sweat box – thankfully it had free wi-fi kept marc entertained while I drifted in and out of sleep for days. 

The pics below show our walk to our hotel it was up this narrow alleyway off the bazar street full of flies and yet more shops not the nicest of places but close to the station at least.
