Singapore, Singapore
We flew from Chiang Mai to Singapore on Air Asia - these guys are good its a budget airline but they dont mess about food is decent served quick and never been delayed yet. We were shattered after having 5 hours sleep the night before but luck was on our side the plane was empty at the back and we got 3 seats each and lay down and pretty much slept the whole way - result !!

We were greeted at the airport by my mate Richie who I used to work with back in Edinburgh - he now lives in Singapore and we are staying at his place for the next 3 nights . Not only was it like luxury to be picked up from the airport but he had a goody bag for us!! Inside was our 2 F1 tickets, a mobile phone to use while in Singapore incase we got lost, a 3G dongle so we could use our laptop by the pool, 2 MRT cards already topped up so we can get around the metro, Marc was delighted as his was a transformer card haha, we also had 2 fans to keep us cool in the heat - except Richie left them on so the batteries were dead lol - too funny.

We arrived at their Condo which is so lovely it was really nice to be in a "home" environment again instead of just another hotel room. We headed out for a few beers and food before eventually crashing out exhausted.

Zoo
So it was meant to be an early rise to get to the zoo but it didnt quite work out like that we were soooo tired - the kids Andrew 5 & Charlotte 4 were wide awake waiting to meet us and drew us pictures all excited about going to the zoo. We were treated to delicious bacon butties for breakky mmm mm .

So out the door we head to the zoo the kids are off to the swimming play area while Marc and I went round the zoo - it was amazing its got all sorts of amimals - I will let the pics do the talking.

Nandos
The football was on tonight so we headed out to get a Nandos - its been 4.5 months and it did not fail to disappoint we stuffed our faces hehe - we went for a bit of geek shopping in the HUGE mall of nothing but geek stuff it was great- didnt buy anything exciting but would be great to go there for a splurge.

Lizzie and I went round the shops while the boys went home for beers and footy - what a great day - once again exhausted haha
