Sepilok, Malaysia
We arrived off our flight once again loving Air Asia we manged to get 3 seats to ourself which meant sleep again - we have been up since 0230 to watch the football and then due to the ungodly hour we had to get a taxi to the airport!

We had a pickup from the hotel and arrived at our Jungle Resort Hotel- we had booked a fan room in a bit to save costs but after trying to nap for a bit we moved to an air con room - this hotel is in the jungle and its utterly STIFLING ! I went to sort out the room move and almost walked into a snake gutted I didnt have the camera - it was a skinny thing but about half a metre in length - cool .

We moved rooms then headed out to the Orangutans which were a five min walk up the road - by the time we got there we were utterly soaked with sweat, we paid to get in - it was almost feeding time so we hurried a bit - bad move - poor Marc he was worse than I was, there wasnt a dry bit of us it was so humid unbelievable how dripping we were.

We got to the feeding area and wow there they were hanging around hehe they are so cool - then a mum with its baby appeared it was so tiny and fluffy hehe - we watched them for about an hour then just at the last min the mum and baby came along the wire almost above us so we got a really good view close up it was amazing.

On the way back someone spotted a snake in a tree - second one today how cool - Marc didnt agree much he doesn't particularity like the jungle and bugs - also mainly cause they seem to like him - any flies that he found on him had drowned though he was that wet bless him .

You can do a night walk with the rangers in there also if you fancy it.

Back to the hotel and we went for a swim while I did a few more lengths - we leave tomorrow for Semporna to stay the night there before we head off to Mabul Island to start out Padi Course the day after - eeeeeeeeeeeeeeek trying not to think about it now but I am determined I am going to get over my fear and get my certificate without drowning - it was was my idea after all !!!
