Well we got our flight no problem from Brisbane-Sydney even though it costs us a fortune as we had presumed we could change our Sydney-Santiago flight no problem to get more time in Aus, we had done this on our other flights on our RTW ticket no problem but it turned out flights were full for next 2 weeks aggggggggg. We had to payed extra to change the internal flight so that we could have longer in Sydney with my old flatmate and bestest pal Stephen who moved here 6 months ago :-))))

We were supposed to meet Stephen in town but he surprised us and came to the airport hehe - its been ages since we saw him and was looking forward to catching up for the next 6 nights .

Back at his place we got an indian takeaway and stuffed our faces haha we were shattered after partying the night before so slept like a baby that night.

Sydney Harbour
We got up the next day and walked down to the opera house, Stephen's house is right in the centre so it was a wee short walk through the botanic gardens where there were people getting married in the gardens looking out onto the harbour bridge and opera house really lovely.

The view was amazing its weird when you see something so iconic in real life its hard to believe your actually there- strange feeling, cant really explain it but its happened to us at so many places, just cant comprehend that your actually there at something you have seen in photos or on the TV so many times.

Manly 
We got the ferry over to Manly, this has been voted number 3 best ferry ride in the world after the Staten Island ferry in New York and the Star Ferry in Hong Kong, both of which we have done and yep they are amazing hehe.

Manly is a lovely beach town with a great beach and a nice vibe to it, we hung around for the afternoon in the sun and then treated ourselves to a Nandos !!!! Its been junk food catchup on thins we have missed since arriving in Sydney along with proper bacon sannys in the morning too hehe we are terrible !!
