So after our delight of finally getting the pics on the salt flats our next stop was Sucre - totally forgot to take any pics but its a lovely wee place all white buildings and nice markets but we were mostly being lazy.

We got a 5 hour bus to Potosi (this is actually the highest city in the world at 4090m higher than La Paz) where we had to wait 3 hours to get the next bus onto Sucre - it was cold and raining and the bus didnt have any heating on it at all so it made for a long journey .

We eventually arrived into Sucre around 8.30pm and with bags and all we headed straight for a Chinese restaurant we found in the lonely planet - it had been ages since we had chinese and after a long cold day of travel it was just what we needed it was delicious.

We checked into our 8 bed dorm Hostel Amigo for the night and slept but it was pretty shite hostel the staff were so rude so the next morning we changed to Wasi Masi which was much nicer and a private room. It was our luck too as that day they were having a free BBQ as it was the hostels 4th birthday so we got a carry out and sat and stuffed our faces and got drunk - great day.
 

A Major Mission - which route ??
Aside from that I had to plan our route to get us to Brazil - we had came into Bolivia as we couldnt really afford to spend a full month in Brazil as its so expensive we did a bit of a detour as Bolivia is so cheap but we knew we were gonna have to do a mammoth journey to get to Brazil but still we saved a fair bit of cash just hanging in Bolivia.

So we had another day of rest in Sucre before we undertook our mission... there were 2 options of routes - one to the Brazil Border via Campo Grande and then down to Iguassu and the other was basically to go straight through Paraguy !!!

I had read bad reviews of the Paraguay route but it seemed to be that the road was now paved and we would rather sit on one bus than change 4 or 5 times so it was decided PARAGUAY here we come !!!!!!!!!!!!
