Salts Flat Tour - Day 4 ..Part 2

Uyuni, Bolivia

So Sun had managed to convince our already exhausted driver to take us back out on the salt flats for 250B around £7 each WOO HOO – so we heaed off again, Martin didn't come back with us so it was just the 4 of us and to say we were excited was an understatement, we had the first rains this year on the salt flats if the sun hadnt dried it all up we could get the mirror and that would be amzing.

We had a race against the clock as our driver David had to get back to Tupiza that afternoon and he stopped on the Salts and said is here fine – but no we wanted the water on the salts and these were another 10km away – waving another 100B in his face he grinned at us and drove on

. Eventually we arrived where the water was and WOW it was utterly stunning and amazing – we had to take pics quick so they are not perfect but you can see the mirroring of the clouds its just stunning.

There is a video there too to watch – to say that we were happy was an understatemnet at last the four days in the jeep had been worthwhile – it was back to the hostel for an early night and a well deserved shower.
