At last today the sun appeared - we headed down the beach for a few hours to try and get a bit of a suntan seeing as tonight was a "white" party wearing white clothes and we were pale and white ourselves haha. The great thing about scottish pasty white skin is that you only need a few hours to "cook" on the beach - factor 15 and 2 hours later we headed back to get ready to go out for the party tonight.
 

Our dorm is packed - 12 of us and there is nowhere to put our big backpacks so its chaos all of us trying to get ready the fact we both had sunburn now didn't help we were roasting red haha - the hostel were being a bit annoying they were not letting us drink our own alcohol in the bar area which meant out room was the party room and even more people piled in .

 

With a few drinking games under way - one of the best ones so far this trip involved putting a coin over a piece of paper on a cup with shots of alcohol and you use a cigarette to burn away the paper bit by bit and whoever causes it to drop has to drink it - typically first up for the drinking it was Marc - he managed it no prob but I bowed out of the game at this point fag ash with malibu, vodka and rum aint pleasant.

 

To the Beach
At 10pm the hostel sent us on our way and at this point the rain was now absolutely pissing it down !! Pointless hair straightening effort tonight by us all. We somehow all managed to all stay together as we walked through the crowns to the main stage just in time for the fireworks at midnight - it was crazy, pissing down and it was packed.

We had our bottles of rum and coke with us and headed down the beach where Marc and some others went for a swim...I was wet enough and it was chilly brrrrr - we spent the night getting drunk before heading back to the hostel to party the rest of the morning away.

There were a few stories of people who got pick pocketed so I was just glad to have made it back with the camera - a great night was had by all even in the rain.
