TOUCHDOWN the US of A 

Well after a 7 hour flight with American Airlines which was a rubbish tiny full plane we made it into Miami - another THREE hours later we eventually got through customs then immigration - its amazing the airports we have been to all over the world and the HUGE variations of security at each of them from walking right through with bottles of water and juice to of course the strictest - getting in America, bag search, scan before and after flight its so frustrating .

WE NEED SOME NEW CLOTHES
Anyway we get the airport flyer no 150 bus to take us over to south beach and it literally drops us at our hostel, the reception is chaos the streets are packed of young groups of people here for their spring break its crazy - our dorm was good beds comfy and only 6 beds and best of all English speaking people who were really cool thankfully. 

We had to get out and find some clothes to wear tonight, all the clubs in Miami are strict dress code and we definitely had nothing to wear - we have been scumming it for months - most people here were on holiday with their nice new clothes eeeeeeeek. We quickly found me a hooker dress and some killer heels, I don't even wear heels back home it was going to be a challenge compared to my geek walking sandals I had been in for the last year, Marc managed to find a black shirt and nice black jeans so he was good to go too - it was brutal shopping sooooo many nice clothes but we just cant afford to go mad.

OAKENFOLD
So a stop at the liquor store for the cheapest bottle of whisky and a few drinks we were out the door - we had blagged guest list again so all tarted up and Marc hanging onto me to stop me falling over in my heels, we got in the club. We were now shattered it was 1am and we had been up since 4am getting our flight. We get over to the decks for him coming on and instantly he spots us and gives us a hug and offers us 2 of his beers asking how our trip had been since . I am sure he thinks we must be mental after seeing him in Ushuaia and Buenos Aires hehe.  

The club was well fancy it was part of a huge hotel - it was very much like Vegas style places - I was worried I was going to look overdressed but not a chance - it was nice to get dressed up to go out we don't need to do that for the clubs we go to back home. It was quite funny though some chic banged into me and I went over in my heels and the bouncer said to Marc "am I going to have to carry your girl out for being too drunk" haha IDIOT - as if us 2 backpackers could afford to get drunk on £6 a beer in that club....we were sharing a beer for fooks sake LOL. After the set we had five mins with Paul he wished us safe trip back home as he knew this was the end of our trip and thanked us for coming to see him again - it was a nice end to what had been a great Oakenfold adventure.


ULTRA FESTIVAL - DAY 1 
So we caught the party bus into the festival which was mental, blacked out windows pumping tunes and a smoke machine haha. We were downing our whisky on the way since we heard it was £5 a beer inside agggggggggg sucks being here on a budget ! Anyway this then resulted in me being totally reeking and had to be sat down inside asap with a huge slice of pizza and some full fat coke to revive my drunkeness - much to Marc's annoyance as New Order were on - I was sat in the chair stuffing my face haha. I came too thankfully and we also seen Kraftwork & Carl Cox which were highlights of the evening - festival is ace though its defo up there with one of the best we have been to, good layout, toilets, line up :-)))

Entry to Oakenfolds club night should have been £43 - for us FREE !! Crazy price eh all the after party nightclubs were the same all week!!
