I like going to warm palces in January and February. That's why I missed snowmaggden last year. However, it looks like our worst weather was in December and January, and we may have an early spring. Maybe that means that the ugly piles of old snow and ice will be gone by the time I get home.

Have a wonderful trip. The Thai people are warm,gracious and gorgeous. Enjoy the temples and the variety of food. I have been twice and I would definitely go back!

Just read there is a gorgeous hotel called the Library in Koh Samui. The hotel pool is supposed to be one of the top 10 hotel pools in the world. Will you be anywhere near there? Your pix are great.

We won't be staying there or any other really fancy hotels, but the places we stay are very nice and I'm enjoying the trip.
