Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States
I was up early, but I think AntMan messed with my head, and I had really weird dreams. I had a good breakfast, because Home2 are good. I made my own waffle! Then I drove for Minneapolis St. Paul. I got really tired along the way and stopped at a rest area for a snooze. I finished my second audiobook then.

Roadworks were PARTICULARLY bad today and poor Google was really concerned about how my destination time kept getting extended . At one point we were down to one lane and I was stuck behind a truck and couldn't see anything. When I finally got past, it turned out a cop had pulled a guy over under a bridge, and stopped all the rest of us. We were going so slowly, I don't know how it could have been worth it. >:(

I'm staying in a Super8 motel. It ain't no Motel 6, but it's fine. Everything is a relatively similar shade of puke green, but it seems clean. And it's far from the worst place I've ever stayed.

Anyway, the accommodation is not the point! The point is I'm beside the Mall of America!!! It is the second biggest mall in the U.S., according to Wikipedia, and there's a THEME PARK in the middle! Roller coasters and everything. I bought a wrist pass and went straight on to the rides. Fairly Odd Parents, Airbender, SpongeBob SquarePants and the Pepsi Orange something.

I actually got a mani/pedi before that, I forgot . My nails were getting crappy from hauling luggage everywhere and not taking care of them. So relaxing. A girl also straightened and polished my hair for free somewhere along the way. I started the day with sushi, and ended with Bubba Gump's shrimp. Mmmm, no cheese!!!

I can't handle the clothes shops. It bizarre that in a country where there's an obesity epidemic, the clothes sizes are TINY. I mean, everyone knows there's a massive (no pun intended) problem with the fashion world, but I actually don't think it's AS defeating in Ireland. Anyway, I didn't want to waste time in dressing rooms or at checkout queues, and I don't have room for clothes...

So I bought tonnes of games for school instead!!!

Yay!

...yeah, I don't have room for them either. I'll end up taking my clothes as carry on. OH WELL, I'll also win "Best Teacher Evar" award.

Two of your Fahy great-grand uncles emigrated to St.Paul, (the other half of the twin cities, Minneapolis/St. Paul), in the 1880s.
