It was only a short boat ride to Samui  and we had booked into a nice air con room with a tv or so we thought. When we got there they had double booked the room and we had to be moved to another hotel down the road. The guy from our hotel took us there in his pickup and told us to get reception to ring him and he would send someone to pick is up the next day so we could check in to our actual hotel. The first room they put us in was damp with dirty bed sheets so we requested to be moved and were lead by the very grumpy receptionist to our new room which was a lot better. That night we decided to go and check out the night life we went for some food then headed to the strip, on the way we got dragged into a cabaret ladyboy show or should I say I got dragged in, Mel was loving it then we got put on a table and given a drinks menu. 630 baht or  £12 they wanted for one bottle of beer! Needless to say we made a swift and sneaky exit. We went a little further and went into an Ozzy bar where we got on the buckets again and watched a bit of a pool tournament that was going off, then a women came round with a connect 4 and offered us a game where the loser had to buy a shot for the winner. Thinking how hard can it be I gave it a go, she blitzed me! So I had to buy her a shot of tequila. Refusing to play any more games we had a few for free which we lost them all. I never knew how intense connect 4 could be. After that we went to the green mango an Mel made friends with a gay lad... it really wasn't my night!! The next day we checked out and asked the receptionist if he could call the guy to come pick us up but it was the grumpy one again and he told us that he couldn't. We sed that we were told to ask him to ring the other hotel which he replied no one was coming for us and we could sit and wait for hours to get picked up or just walk! So we walked it. After getting to the actual hotel we booked we mentioned how rude the other guy was and went up to the room. We spent the next two days chilling as there wasn't that much to do within our price range, I got two big bites on my back which I must of had a slight reaction to because they swelled up and I got a rash on my legs which looked like really bad nettle stings. We went to the pharmacy and it's all fine now. It's back to Bangkok again next then off to Singapore. Thailand has been great and we have really enjoyed traveling round it the food and sights are awesome well worth the visit.
