Wanaka was the next stop for us. On the way there we passed another A J Hacket bungee, so we decided to pull in and watch a few people jump off a bridge, 40 odd meters above a raging river!
Just before we got into Wanaka we went to Puzzling World, and got puzzled by all the optical illusions they have set up, and got extremely lost in the outdoor 3D maze.
When we finally got out of the place, we nipped into town and did a shop and stocked up on food for the trip out to glacier country. We spent the night in a DOC site on the shores of Lake Wanaka.
