We had a good sleep- very comfy mattresses...a good Swiss breakfast of eggs, bacon,all the cheeses and cold cuts you can imagine, muesli, yogurt, fruit, buns and bread and great coffee. It's gray and misty and cold....caught the airport bus to the airport mall, then the train to Hauptbahnhof and downtown....browsed in all the shops, but between the low dollar and high cost of things here....ended up with a Burberry type scarf to help keep me warm. We had a salad and a salmon plate and 2 glasses of white Swiss wine from Jemoli which is a local Dept. store a bit like the Bay....42 Swiss Francs later.....which is close to $70.00....a very expensive town...
Nice things around though if you have the money....caught the train back and met Bruno from Edelweiss at the Hilton for a couple of beers... The guys talked business and I did some people watching.. Now packing for the flights tomorrow...first to Montreal and then to Vancouver.... If all goes well we will be home late tomorrow evening..it's been a very nice vacation indeed.
