Today we had breakfast here at the hotel...unremarkable and pretty basic and crowded. Then we were off exploring the Outlet Malls which are about 20 minutes out of town towards LA. Being a holiday it was busy but Wouter found 3 light long sleeve shirts at Izod and I found an exercise shirt there as well as a T Shirt at Chicos and a blouse at Ann Taylor. We asked for a new suite facing the Golf Course at the Desert Willows so we came back to change rooms.. It's a much nicer suite.....quieter and a nicer view. Stopped in El Paseo to have a coffee at Starbucks and a stop at the Visiter Center, where one of the staff was very helpful and recommended the Coachella Perserve for a hike to the Oasis and a visit to Sunnylands gardens.

We found a hat for Wouter as he forgot his Tilley at home and then drove back to PS to have a drink at Lulus bar/ restaurant where they have a Happy Hour menu at reduced prices.. saw the tail end of the Veterans Day Fireworks as we drove to downtown?..Lulus is a sleek restaurant bar.....I had a great Marguerita and W had a Stella. After sharing a very yummy burger and salad we walked along the shopping area and stopped for a superb Ice Cream at the Marble Slab..
Back to the hotel for a hot tub session and now we are sitting on the balcony watching the stars and drinking California wine....it's a tough life
Tomorrow it will be around 32C so not sure what we will do....guess it depends on when we wake up
