Today we woke up to a gloriously sunny day...not a cloud in the sky and the temp was up to 76 which is very nice. We had Greek yogurt with spiced blueberries and walnuts with Pumpkin Bread, then a quiche and Coconut muffin...very yummy!! After. Real fast we sat in the sun on the deck then Inez and I were treated to a very nice relaxing massage at the Spa. We chatted with Claire for a while and then we were off .....first to Hickory Flats Pottery.. A very nice studio where the potter showed us the kilns and explained the glazes and firing process. Would have loved to buy some of the platters but the trip home might be difficult..
Then we checked out an old grist mill on a pretty little River and tried to find a coffee place for a Lattee finally found Java Joes in Clarksville. Then off to Mt Yonha vineyards where we were only 5 min before closing, we managed to try 2 whites and bought one. Then back to the back deck at Lucilles for a drink and then to Nachochee Grill for burgers...nice place, nice people and yummy burgers. Then dessert at Lucilles of a very yummy chocolate. Cake with Strawberry Jam and Choc. Ganache.....I've gone to heaven. A chat with Erik and now to bed. Tomorrow we are off to N Carolina.
