Savannah, Georgia, United States
Woke up a little later to another sunny though cool...it's only 8F this AM..had another nice breakfast, did a wash...the W/D is just like ours at home...and then set off for Tybee Light Station and Museum... Very interesting. Then went to Tybeans.the only coffee place on the Island. Definitely not K/I type of place...it's like a beach shack. Got back home around 4 and while K/I took a nap we tried to find a Resto for dinner. The Symphony is playing a concert in Forsyth Park tonight so all the recommended restaurants are booked so we went to a new place called The Florence which is owned by Hugh Acheson who also opened 5+10 in Athens. He's Canadian from Ottawa...we had Pecan encrusted pork ribs with field peas...think black eyed peas and kale plus roasted cauliflower. Plus micro brewed beer.. It's in a converted ice factory with pale brick exposed walls. Very earthy. Tomorrow we hope to go to a Nature Preserve and see some gators?
