Maastricht, Limburg, Netherlands
Well it was a terrible weather day...blustery and wet and cold so we met Claire at the Tribunal bar for breakfast of bacon and eggs...yummy and cozy .......then we went to the University as Claire had to finish some student stuff.....then to Hotel Delon to use their printer...nice place and W sweet talked the concierge into letting us sit and fill out the form Claire needed to submit. So then we drove to Sittard to drop it off and then to Roermond to the Outlets which are very similar in stores as the ones at home near Tulalip. Then we drove back dodging the rain monsoons and gusty winds and met Daan for drinks at an old fire hall which is now a restaurant and Bar....quite cool with even a fire pole still in place.its called Brandweer Cantina. We had some beers and then Bavettes and Frites. The food was good and the decor is Thrift store chic and cute. Holland was playing an exhibition football game with Spain so we went to another pub called Peters Irish pub to have another beer and watch the second half....Holland won so everyone was happy. Then walked home in the cold and blustery wind for bed.
