The Cotswolds

Chipping Campden, England, United Kingdom
We hopped on a train in London and rode north to the Cotswolds. This is a rural area in England called the heart of England. There are very old, very quaint villages about every 8 to 10 miles and in between are rolling fields of grain and sheep and cow pastures. It's really beautiful and very country. The buildings are all made of the native golden stone and the roads are narrow, country roads. We are staying in a town called Chipping Campden in a very old --- 250 years old -- cottage just off the high street. Yesterday we walked to the top of Drover's Hill and the view was amazing. We could see rolling hills and fields and trees for miles. This is a peaceful place where things move slowly.

We have rented a car so we can go farther and see places where we can't walk . Cory is learning to drive on the left side of the road, so the next few days should be interesting.

Looks like a nice place to relax after spending time in the big city. Keep your updates coming. We love them.
