Last day in Chipping Campden

Chipping Campden, England, United Kingdom
We took a walk to Broad Campden, a neighboring village and thought I'd share some pictures we took along the way. The Cotswolds are picturesque and beautiful, just what you'd expect to see in an old English village. We passed some magnificent homes and gardens, had a ploughman's lunch at the pub, and saw about 20 older Mercedes cars, most with the tops down, following each other along the road. Must have been a touring club out for the day to enjoy the drive. They all waved and we gave them the thumbs up. Tomorrow we leave for Edinburgh on the train. It will be a long day as we have travel back to London, schlep our luggage through the tube trains to the international train station and then catch the train to Edinburgh. We've learned we have way too much luggage and stuff and we'll certainly leave half of it at home next year. By the way, we've booked passage on a cruise to Venice, Italy, in March, 2015, so we'll spend April, May and June in Italy and around the Mediterranean next year. Already starting the planning for 2015 and we've learned a lot about what we like, how to make life easier, and what NOT to do (or carry as we travel).
