Departure Day

Lillian, Alabama, United States
First lets just catch up! This is Mike writing again the Rotonda trip blog for 2019. Nothing formal or inherently different but the trip is really organized differently this year. There are no major National Parks or Monuments this year, although there are several smaller ones. This total trip mileage will probably be much closer to 4,000 than 16,000 miles and of the 78 nights we are gone, all but 7 have …50 AMP service! That’s whip cream and a cherry on top to a real camper!
The trip is segmented along these lines:
1.       2 weeks in Central Ohio to visit Family and Friends and Doctors we left behind when we became Alabama full time residents.
2.       2 Weeks in the area known as the Swizerland of Ohio and the Amish of Eastern Ohio
3.       1 Week in the Allegany mountain area of Southwestern N Y and Northwestern PA, along with Niagara Falls
4.       2 Weeks in Upstate NY and the Adirondack Mountain area including Vermont
5.       2 weeks in Central Ohio to visit but without the daily Doctor visits of the first segment
6.       2 Weeks in N Carolina right by the Pinehurst Golf course
