This was Segment 1. Happy that
almost all the Dr. visits are done, I got to see Red, White and Boom with 3
GREAT women ( that’s the mid
Wests largest fireworks not a fight!), we got some great pizza 2X, did
some coin shopping while the girls searched for antiques, visited with our Grand
Nephew “Hurricane” Hugh and rounded up another nephew ALEX for his
introduction to living in the motorhome away from home!
One thing I will say about Ohio
roads, I-71 specifically, is y’all need to turn the smooth side up! We don’t
miss that constant jarring of concrete breaking up! (Photos)
We ended Segment 1 with a stay at
a true resort campground, Rocky Fork just a few miles north of Cambridge Ohio.
Today a lot of campgrounds use the term Resort in their title, but this
campground earns the definition! Want to swim? Indoor and outdoor pools and a large
hot tub area. Want to ride horses? Yours or theirs or just watch a Rodeo, lots
of equestrian opportunity! Play good guy-Bad guy, they have a complete Paint
Ball range set up, Canoe or paddle boat? Yep they have a lake for that too!
Miniture golf, volleyball, horseshoes, tennis? Don’t have to leave the park!
