Departure Day

Lillian, Alabama, United States
Well we were up about 5 am and loading final things in the motor home. After securing the house we were finally off about 7 am.  The drive started out just fine.......a beautiful sunny day and hardly any traffic then Birmingham came quickly and because of road construction we sat about a hour and 15 minutes.  The rain hit around Nashville and slowed us down but soon we were moving right along.
We arrived at Linda’s about 11 pm and settled in to a nightcap and conversation.
Monday was a relaxing day with Linda and her family. Hurricane Hugh entertained us and the Grapevine GVS pizza filled us up. The only mishap was Hugh slipped on the wet concrete and hit his head.  Molly took him to doc and after being glued back together he now has the nickname Elmer.

Just hoping you have a wonderful time. Wear masks and stay away from people you don’t know! It’s been over 3 months for Mark. He is Still exhausted and very off balance. This shit is real!

Deb and Mike I’m so happy for you. You are living your dream in an RV, as I wished I could be doing too. Kudos to you and keep it rolling. Someday soon hopefully “we” will be rolling south to meet you in PCB for a month of R&R. Forever friends then and now. SBB
