Kim had made sure that she knew our anniversary this year. As she was proudly showing off that she remembered, I remembered that I forgot her anniversary gift at work!!!  I made up a BS (Bull Poop) story about forgetting some paperwork at school and drove in to get it!!!

After I was home, I saw an alert from American Airlines that we had three and a half hours to boarding. No, no, we were not leaving until 6:45 pm!!! I looked at the iPhone app and my emails – yepp, we were leaving at 1:45!!! We live a little over an hour to the airport and we were not packed!!! Wholly Geezus!!! We finished packing and prepared the house before leaving!!! We also had to drop off the car at Mini for service. They are holding the car until we get back!

However, there is no time for Ted’s before we leave!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We made it, but not by much! There was a half hour until boarding!!!! That was cutting it too close!! There was a slight delay getting out of Buffalo and another delay leaving Philadelphia. Things were going Ok on the flight to Budapest until we were about two and a half hours into the flight. The pilot said that there was an issue with a redundant system and we had to go back to Philadelphia!! I assumed that we would get on another plane immediately and head over to Budapest. Nope, we were going to leave tomorrow morning at 8:00.

We got back to Philadelphia around 1:00 am! The vouchers for hotels were not ready and it looked like a cluster truck! When we added up the timings, we would only get three hours of sleep at a hotel. We decided to sleep in the airport on the comfy (sarcasm alert) seats!!
