Previously inhabited by Greek Christians, this town was largely abandoned during a population swap between Greece and Turkey in 1923. Now, it is sparsely inhabited, with the abandoned church serving as a major tourist attraction. We also went to the Tomb of Amyntas, dating to 350 BC, in nearby Fethiye.
