Just spent the night here before heading on to parts more northernly. Dinner was exceptional,
as was our hotel.
This is one of the last places in Thailand that still uses horse-drawn carriages as regular transportation.
After Lampang, we made a couple of interesting touristy stops before reaching the Burmese border. An authentic pineapple farm gave me yet another excuse to dress up silly,
while another stop gave me the opportunity to test my iron stomach by tasting the local delicacy of dancing (i.e., live) shrimp.
Finally, we made a brief stop at a small collection of sculptures representing Buddhist images of Heaven and Hell.
