Our last stop in Thailand is the tourist town of Chiang Mai. We had several days there to see all the sights, enjoy all the activities, and just relax. I got to ride an elephant,
visit an orchid garden, enjoy a two-hour long Thai massage (only $7!), and visit several interesting temples.
Unfortunately, on my last full day there, I fell somewhat ill. I had the chills that night, was mostly better the next morning, but then felt sick again when we took our midday flight to Cambodia. I was afraid I was going to miss Angkor Wat, the part of the tour I had looked forward to the most. But it was just a 24 hour bug--I was pretty much recovered in Cambodia and got to enjoy my three days there without incident.
