Miami Beach

We decided to have a beach-day today as we like to intersperse some quieter days in between our busier sightseeing days. Miami is a suburb of central Gold coast and is about a 40 minute drive south of Coomera (where we’re staying with my sister). Miami (and nearly every other suburb in the gold coast) looks nearly identical - a long strip of sandy white beach (usually the length of the entire suburb), followed by high and low-rise apartments and shops along the beachfront drive. Parking was easy to find as we were away from Surfer’s and it was a weekday. We found a nice spot on the beach where the waves weren’t too big for the kids. Rhys was in the water within minutes and splashing around in the incoming waves. Tanish showed up a bit later but wasn’t very keen on either the sand or the water but after my mom sat down with him for a while in the shallow water and got him used to it, he actually started to enjoy it. We spent a couple of hours on the beach and enjoyed seeing the kids have so much fun.
