Alofi, Alofi South, Niue
Alofi, the capital of Niue, a petite island nation in the South Pacific Ocean, is nestled on the western coast of this raised coral atoll. The island showcases limestone cliffs and a central plateau, positioned northeast of New Zealand, with  a population of 1,600.Niue's economy is  agriculture, fishing, and a growing tourism sector. Regrettably, we couldn't explore the island further due to unsafe ocean conditions for the tender boats. After our vessel circumnavigated the island, we then set sail toward Tonga. The seas have become a tad turbulent, with 3 metre swells and 50 km/h winds, fortunately our course nearly aligns with the wind direction, helping to make a smoother journey, fingers crossed. Tonight we cross the international date line, skipping Wednesday and waking up on Thursday same time as New Zealand.

It looks like a "moody"island, maybe a bit mysterious? Hope the sun is shining in Tonga
