Millmerran, Queensland, Australia
A rainy cool day with plenty of wind. Luckily Rick has learnt a few lessons in the past and braced our awning well in advance.

We drove into Leyburne for lunch at the Royal Hotel, formerly owned by footballer Shane Webcke . After indulging in the 'Senior' meals, normal meals off the menus but smaller, we headed back with our designated driver at the wheel, to our little home at the Millmerran Show Grounds.

We handed the house keys over to Bas and Kay, who will again be looking after things at Djindi while we are away. The ceremony was conducted with liquid refreshment (Aperol Spritz), after which we walked up the road to Sue and Tony's van to enjoy Happy Hour with a difference - Coco Chanel is their beautiful poodle who Sue prettys up in aid of Breast Cancer support. Coco sure enjoys all the attention.

It was finally time to head back down the street for tea, Spicy Beef Casserole with Herbed Dumplings, which I had cooked previously - a great end to another lovely day in country Queensland.
